Nitinol is the enabling material for many minimally invasive procedures and implants. In our presentation, we will show how state-of-the-art micro manufacturing technologies are utilized to manufacture medical components made from Nitinol.

Since 2010: Working in the medical device industry at ADMEDES GmbH as development engineer, team lead and finally director of a department dedicated to the development of sophisticated state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies for implants made of Nitinol and other metals.

2006-2010: PhD in Physics in nanofabrication technologies and optics
