Abstract
Faulhaber is an international company with almost 80 years of experience in the development and manufacture of miniaturized electric drives that are unique in terms of their precision and reliability in the smallest of spaces. In order to stand out, it is necessary to meet the diverse and varying requirements of customers in ever shorter times. A few typical customer applications illustrate how the world of electric drives increasingly demands a concentrated performance package in an ever smaller and sometimes lighter volume.
And that is precisely why every thousandth counts.

Bio
Aldo Calvello, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich with a specialization in biomechanics, has been with the company at the Croglio site for 33 years. During this time, he held various management positions within the technical departments.
Aldo Calvello is currently responsible for Technology Outreach. He is in charge of managing the company's patents worldwide and maintains contacts with universities and research institutes.
In doing so, he is pursuing two goals: firstly, to promote awareness of Faulhaber's product technology and, secondly, to gain external expertise to support Faulhaber's product and process roadmap.
